How to determine how much space you are using in Outlook

 

For Outlook 2003 users:

 

1.      In the left window pane under All Mail Folders right-click on Mailbox – yourLastName,  yourFirstName.

2.      From the menu that appears, click on Properties for “Mailbox – yourLastName, yourFirstName.

3.      On the screen that appears select the General tab.

4.      Click on the Folder Size button on the bottom.

5.      The screen that appears will display the size of each of your folders. Look at the line labeled Total Size (including subfolders). This is the size of your mailbox.

 

 

For Outlook 98/2000 users:

 

1.      If you can not see the Folder List turn it on by clicking View in the menu bar and then select Folder List.

2.      Right-click on Outlook Today (Mailbox – yourLastName,  yourFirstName).

3.      From the menu that appears, click on Properties.

4.      On the screen that appears select the General tab.

5.      Click on the Folder Size button on the bottom.

6.      The screen that appears will display the size of each of your folders. Look at the line labeled Total Size (Fld+SubFld). This is the size of your mailbox.
