How to change the Network Managed By
field in PeopleSoft
1. Log into the myUFL portal.
2. Click on “Quick Links” from the myUFL Menu that appears on the left.
3. Click on “Admin Menu” from the list that appears under “Quick Links”.
4. A new window will pop-up containing the Administrative Applications Menu. Under Directory, click on the “Manage Directory Information” link.
5. Click on the “Lookup Person” link to find the person by last name OR type in the person’s UFID in the box provided and click the “Get Basic Information” button.
6. Once the information on the bottom of the screen reflects the correct person, click on the “Relate Person” link on the left hand menu.
7. Change the drop-down box selection under “Select the affiliation” to “Network Managed By”.
8. Click on the “Lookup Department” button to search for the correct Department ID OR just type it in the box provided.
9. Finally, click on the “Submit” button. The user is now related to the chosen department but it may take roughly 15 minutes to update.
